Rebuilt in 2015, Crescent Head Surf Lifesaving Club offers a stunning backdrop for your next event. The Architectural Award winning 2.5 million dollar rebuild now boasts a first floor function space ‘the Pandanus Room’ with expansive windows and two decks to take in the extensive views from the famous Crescent Head Point surf break to Smoky Cape Lighthouse in the north. Ideal for weddings, conferences, meetings, training seminars, group functions and other special events, your next event will be one to be remembered.
The Pandanus Room
This brand new facility includes:
- State – of – the – Art Audio Visual systems, including 2 x 60″ flat screen monitors, in built PA system and wireless microphone.
- Banquet style seating for up to 120 people
- Cocktail style for up to 200 people
- Commercial kitchen facilities for use by either your choice of caterers or choose from one of our quality preferred catering options
- Ample off – street parking
- Professional, RSA qualified bar staff (fully licensed)
- Lift for guests with accessibility issues
What’s Included
A typical hire includes the following:
- Tables and chairs
- Use of commercial kitchen by preferred or selected caterer
- We supply crockery, cutlery and glassware
- Tablecloths are available for hire
- Access to the PANDANUS Room is available 9:00am the day prior to a Wedding.
- Pre- and post-event cleaning
Please note: Music and alcohol supply must cease by 11 PM, and the room must be vacated and secured by 11:30pm. The bar staff will be responsible for securing the building.

Our facilities are not available for hire for 18th, 21st or similar functions. All prices are subject to change. Please note that quoted hire rates are exclusive of GST.

Kempsey Crescent Head Surf Life Saving Club has three preferred caterers for function hire. Each of the businesses below offer a vastly different yet professional and complimentary menu for different functions.

To ensure that you are able to secure your preferred date, contact our Function Room Manager as soon as possible. Once you have learned whether your date is available, please fill out our Function Room Hire agreement and forward it to Crescent Head SLSC , P.O. Box 91, Kempsey, NSW 2440 with the required deposit, or deposit can be made via EFT. This must be received within 14 days of your tentative booking in order for your event to be confirmed.
